You may have noticed that the public view of any asset that has been created by the Dropbox integration will have an asset name of ABC... and a file path of /AB...
The owner view (when logged into the DataTrails UI) shows the full path and file name.
This is not a bug, this is a feature for your safety and privacy.
Attestations (or 'provenance metadata') are made public and are searchable/verifiable by any DataTrails user so that your files can be authenticated and verified later with Instaproof.
File names can include sensitive information (imagine a file like 'HR/discipline/pips/fred_bloggs_termination.docx' ) and so we must mask these out before creating provenance metadata.Knowledge of the filename is not needed to prove provenance because Instaproof will attest and verify the contents of a file even if the filename has changed.
In addition, DataTrails is not intended to replace the excellent file management functionality that is provided by DropBox. You just need to know that provenance exists on DataTrails and Instaproof will do the rest!
